Mr. Philip Wasonga Luma is an Officer in the Department of Welfare and Benevolence of GWASA Family. Philip Wasonga Luma was born in Siaya County Gem sub county, central Gem location, Gongo sub location Nango village. Mr. Wasonga schooled at Tranzoia Primary school class 1-4, got transfer to Gongo primary class 4-8. did my class eight and joined Ambira High School for O-level. Later joined Kamagambo Teachers Training College (TTC) to train as a p1 teacher. Mr. Wasonga was interested in gaining technical knowledge and pursued Mechanical Engineering at Rift Valley Technical Training Institute.
Mr. Wasonga has a vast experience in leadership, management and technical operations. Mr. Wasonga has marshalled this experience by working with various organizations including Northern Construction Company (Head of Department – Mechanical Engineering), Jahir Body Works (Turner Fitter), Soan Sighn Jos and Sons (Turner), Sokoro Saw Mill (Maintenance Officer) and Samcon Body Builders (Chairman of Samco SACCO).
