Mr. Steven Okumu is a well-established high school teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience. He is a senior teacher currently working at Gongo Warom Mixed Secondary School. His also the Director of Studies with the main roles of serving as the Secretary to Heads of Department meetings, Implementing the School Academic and Curriculum Programs, Servicing the staff with the Examination Councils information, Ensuring the integrity of examinations and examination processes are upheld by all teachers and students- internal and external. He also guides, and interviews students and parents on matters relating to Curriculum and the Examinations. He keeps all records on students’ academic progress and initiates programs aimed at value added progress for all students.
Mr. Okumu is the official staff from the school and acting as the main link between GWASA Family and the Alma Mater. He was appointed to join the BOARD OF TRUSTEES on 2ND JULY, 2023.
